FRIDAY launches private liability insurance

Berlin, 02 May 2022 - FRIDAY expands its offering to include private liability insurance and continues to grow towards becoming the most popular digital insurer. Customers can find the new offer on Check24 (price comparison website), followed by the direct and broker channels later this year.
FRIDAY private liability insurance is fully digital and offers customers excellent value for money. For the first time, FRIDAY is introducing the “Focus”, “Balance” and “Relax” rates, tailored towards the different customer needs for liability protection. In addition to that, the FRIDAY private liability policies can be canceled on a daily basis.
“With private liability insurance, we are now offering our customers insurance coverage that is essential for everyone”, says Robin Latz, FRIDAY’s Country Head for Germany, adding “We can therefore address the customer demand for peace of mind and simplicity in yet another product line”.
That feeling of peace of mind is what customers experience when they choose the premium “Relax” rate. In addition to comprehensive benefits, the “Relax” rate offers a best-performance guarantee, which means that customers can be certain that their policy provides just as much if not more protection as those offered by competitors. Furthermore, customers who switch insurers also benefit from the existing policyholder guarantee, which means that in addition to the FRIDAY benefits, the customer does not have to forego any of the benefits of their previous policy.
In line with the “shared economy” trend in the mobility sector, FRIDAY’s private liability insurance also offers “rental car and car sharing insurance” as an additional service. This feature protects customers in the event of damage to rental or car-sharing vehicles, loss of keys or misfueling of rented vehicles.
With the introduction of private liability insurance, which now forms the third product line in Germany alongside pay-per-kilometer car insurance and household insurance, FRIDAY is well established as a digital insurer in Germany.
